ENVIRONMENT CANADA STILL RELIES ON BIASED CLIMATE ASSESSMENT

October 7, 2009: "Stop promoting unfounded fears", by Tom Harris, ICSC Executive Director, Financial Post, National Post, Toronto, Canada.

“"Environment Canada, when it comes to the climate change issue, relies substantially on conclusions reached by the [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change] in its ongoing series of scientific assessments,” wrote [Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Technology Branch, Dr. Brian T.] Gray. Yes, and that is a big problem since the IPCC is known to be a biased organization focused on stirring up yet more climate alarm. ... Spending billions on “fighting climate change,” as [Environment Minister Jim] Prentice asserts “is important to Canadians,” is vastly premature and a wholly inappropriate use of public monies."
