Climate Realist Scientists to Testify Today Before The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources

Testimonies to focus on research results that refute the need for GHG controls

Ottawa, Canada, December 15, 2011: “This morning, for the first time since 2005, scientists who do not accept the hypothesis that humanity’s carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions are causing dangerous global warming will testify before a Canadian government committee,” said Tom Harris, executive director of ICSC which is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada. “This hearing offers members of The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources an outstanding opportunity to hear directly from some of Canada’s leaders in climate change science and economics.”

The hearing runs from 8 am EDT to about 9:30 am EDT on December 15, 2011 and will be held in Room 9, Victoria Building at 140 Wellington Street, Ottawa. It may be watched live on-line here.

The complete hearing will be broadcast at a time TBD on CPAC, the Cable Public Affairs Channel, which can be seen here.

Appearing before the Committee will be (in order of appearance):

Witnesses will speak for approximately 30 minutes in total. A question and answer period will follow for approximately one hour.
